Description
The Gulf Coast Branch of the Mississippi Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) is composed of dedicated public works professionals from the six southernmost counties in the state: Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River, Stone, and George. Our branch includes two of the five most populous cities in Mississippi, serving an estimated 511,703 residents.
Our members play a vital role in delivering essential services and maintaining critical infrastructure across the region. Representing a blend of public employees, private sector professionals, companies, and strong Public/Private Partnerships (PPPs), our branch exemplifies some of the highest levels of competence and collaboration in the field.
We take great pride in representing the public works profession. Whether responding to natural disasters or maintaining daily operations, we are often the first to arrive and the last to leave—steadfast in our service to the communities we support.
